We are seeking a dedicated Finance professional for a Head of Finance position based out of Bengaluru. This role will require you to work closely with APAC leadership while being responsible for finance controllership, corporate accounting, financial reporting, financial risk and strategies and other aspects within the domain.

Our client is an established US-based Company. With over 30+ years of operations, they serve customers across India, North America and APAC as regions. They are now looking to further grow their finance team and strengthen their India presence.

Job Description

  • Lead the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and sustainability.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and handle tax-related matters effectively.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team to aid decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to build a high-performing unit.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A Chartered Accountancy qualification is a must.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a similar role. Prior experience in a start-up environment is preferred, especially part of the 0-1 journey.
  • Hands on experience within the overall finance function, across accounting, reporting, audit, taxation, etc.
  • Should be an expert in finance strategy, financial planning, business partnering.
  • Hands-on experience managing investors and understanding fund raising.
  • Experience in managing a team and collaborating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
