Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic engineering leader to spearhead the development and deployment of advanced AI technologies within our innovative organization. This role involves designing state-of-the-art AI solutions, nurturing a talented AI team, and actively contributing to the company's strategic vision. You will lead initiatives that push the boundaries of AI applications, focusing on areas such as natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving the full lifecycle of AI projects, from research through to implementation and optimization.
  • Creating scalable, efficient data pipelines and AI model workflows.
  • Collaborating across departments-engineering, product, and data teams-to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities.
  • Building, mentoring, and expanding a high-performance AI team by attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Managing agile processes and deployment schedules while fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
  • Partnering with executive leadership to shape the technical roadmap and represent the company at industry forums

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is an experienced AI engineering leader who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and has a proven record of delivering impactful AI-driven products. You are driven by innovation, possess deep technical expertise, and excel at translating complex AI research into practical solutions.

You should have:

  • Advanced academic credentials (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, with a strong research background in machine learning and deep learning.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) leading AI-focused teams, ideally in early-stage or scaling startups.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and tools essential for AI development, including Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Hands-on expertise in developing NLP and computer vision applications, leveraging libraries like Hugging Face, Spacy, and others.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges from ideation to deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and interact with stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude, passion for continuous learning, and the flexibility to work across different time zones when required.



Additional experience in areas such as recommender systems, document analysis, cloud platforms, and software engineering best practices is a plus.
