This is a transformational leadership role responsible for defining, deploying, and governing Total Productive Maintenance across multiple manufacturing locations.The position drives TPM maturity, pillar excellence, safety integration, capability building, and measurable improvements in OEE, quality, cost, and equipment reliability.

Job Description

  • Define the group‑wide TPM vision, roadmap, and governance framework.
  • Lead TPM deployment across all existing plants, new projects, and acquisitions.
  • Drive JIPM‑aligned maturity progression, assessments, gap closure, and sustainability.
  • Coach and support pillar owners (AM, PM, QM, KK, EEM, E&T, SHE, Office TPM).
  • Integrate TPM with daily management, Hoshin Kanri, and SQCDMS practices.
  • Strengthen safety culture through HIRA, near‑miss systems, and embedded safety rituals.
  • Build capability across leadership, engineers, supervisors, and operators.
  • Develop and standardize TPM training content under the corporate learning academy.
  • Ensure measurable business impact on OEE, breakdowns, MTBF/MTTR, PPM, cost, and EBITDA.
  • Lead internal audits, interface with JIPM/MSIL/customer auditors, and prepare plants for assessments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful GM-TQM should have:

  • 20+ years of manufacturing experience with 10+ years in TPM/Lean leadership roles.
  • Hands‑on experience leading JIPM Special Award or Advanced Special Award implementation.
  • Strong background in multi‑plant TPM deployment and governance.
  • Deep expertise in AM, PM, QM, FI/KK, EEM, training systems, and safety integration.
  • Proven track record of driving OEE improvement, breakdown reduction, and quality/cost gains.
  • Experience working within automotive OEM/Tier‑1 ecosystems preferred.
  • Strong coaching, change leadership, and cross‑functional influence skills.
  • High integrity, shop‑floor orientation, and mastery in embedding TPM culture sustainably.
