Job Description

  • Define and execute the IT and digital transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and integration of ERP and other enterprise applications
  • Own the end-to-end project lifecycle from requirement gathering through go-live and stabilization
  • Drive process digitisation and re-engineering across Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, and Supply Chain
  • Partner with functional leaders to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and turnaround time
  • Oversee IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user systems
  • Establish IT governance frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Implement cybersecurity and data protection measures in line with regulatory requirements
  • Design and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Manage technology vendors, system integrators, contracts, and SLAs
  • Own IT budget planning and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Lead and mentor a small internal IT team, driving accountability and continuous improvement
  • Provide regular dashboards and updates to senior management on IT KPIs and transformation initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership exposure
  • Proven track record in ERP implementations and enterprise-wide digital transformation
  • Experience in cold chain, agri-business, logistics, manufacturing, or operations-intensive environments
  • Comfortable operating in a lean IT setup with hands-on accountability
  • Strong stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, and leadership skills
