Job Description

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and implement a unified Quality Vision and Strategy across all plants.
  • Align quality goals with corporate objectives, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional quality governance for new product development, launch, and lifecycle management



Multi-Plant Oversight

  • Oversee Quality Assurance and Control across all manufacturing sites.
  • Standardize Quality Management Systems (QMS) including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001.
  • Ensure consistent application of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and CAPA methodologies



Focus on Legacy + EV Component

  • Drive zero-defect culture in high-precision EV components such as battery modules, connectors, sensors, and power electronics.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Engineering to ensure design-for-quality in EV platforms.
  • Monitor EV-specific compliance (e.g., RoHS, REACH, ISO 26262 for functional safety)

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and track Quality KPIs: PPM, COPQ, warranty claims, audit scores.
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve process capability.
  • Champion digital quality tools (e.g., MES, QMS software, AI-based defect detection)

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Interface with OEMs and Tier-1 customers on quality audits, escalations, and joint improvement programs.
  • Lead supplier quality development and strategic sourcing evaluations.
  • Present quality performance and risk assessments to executive leadership and board.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive preferred).
  • 15-20+ years in automotive quality leadership, with EV domain expertise.
  • Proven success in managing multi-site operations and global quality systems.
  • Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt, Lead Auditor (ISO/IATF), ASQ CQE
