Our client is one of the leading consumer brands in the world. They are widely regarded as pioneers in their category and have a strong presence across India and global markets. The organization is looking to expand it's existing footprint across brand and digital touchpoints and seeks an experienced candidate to lead the Marketing team and take the initiative ahead.

Job Description

Reporting to the Business CEO, you will be responsible for:

  • Overall RoI on the marketing budgets across online and offline modes of communication
  • Maintaining and enhancing Brand awareness, Customer engagement, Customer retention, Spend per customer & other metrics.
  • Performing market researches to understand consumer trends and preferences and to identify potential changes required in communication, outreach modes and products
  • Understand feedback from Dealers / Distributors on customer requirements
  • Understand competitor movement in the market in terms of product development / launches and marketing activities
  • Ensuring that the product, pricing, packaging are in alignment with the customers and channel stakeholders
  • Ensuring that the customer and channel communication is clear and consistent across marketing channels
  • Define and implement marketing strategies in alignment with overall business plan and objectives; in collaboration with sales, R&D, commercials, operations
  • Developing PR campaigns and developing a relationship with various industry stakeholders, to ensure Brand / product advocacy on relevant forums
  • Building relationships with external 3rd parties in the marketing domain (creatives, media, campaigns, technology)
  • Setting up marketing technologies to monitor the campaign effectiveness

The Successful Applicant

MBA / PGDM or any other equivalent Masters degree with 15+ years of total experience with 5 years leading the marketing division of a reputed product company. Experience in Leadership / Team Management / Cross Functional collaboration along with understanding of market research and data analysis methods is important. People leadership and experience of managing a team of at least 10+ resources is a must along with current spends in the range of 50-100 Cr. The person should have a strong leaning towards digital marketing and understanding of digital marketing automation. Sound communication skills & outstanding analytical skills besides strong expertise in interpreting results and deriving insights is important.
