The Quality Engineers works with Architects, Solution Designers, Developers, Product Owners, Project Managers and others to help ensure high quality and timely delivery on multiple implementations of changes in product centric delivery model.Quality Engineers are responsible to implementing quality assessments throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure high standards in product-centric delivery.

Job Description

Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes.

Participates in requirement, design and specification reviews, and uses this information to design test plans and test conditions.

Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing. Automates testing tasks and builds test coverage through existing or new infrastructure.

Analyses and reports on test activities, results, issues and risks.

The Successful Applicant

  • A background in software analysis or software development or IS project from relevant business area is necessary.
  • ISTQB Software Testing Foundation or Intermediate Certification
  • Total years of experience should be 1-5 years
  • Good understanding of Cloud technology (Google and Azure), Microsoft CRM, Window and UNIX server, Web & App platforms.
  • Person must have an excellent problem-solving approach, be a self-starter, good communicator, good collaboration skills and team player, business oriented and must have skills in producing documentation
  • Understanding of Non-Functional testing like Performance testing, Accessibility Testing, Visual Testing
  • The ability to demonstrate:
    • Consistent delivery of testing on time and to budget
    • Problem solving and Risk management
    • Change management
    • Quality custodian in software development life cycle
  • Good Quality Engineering skills covering Functional, API, Automation and non-functional testing
  • Understanding of Project development lifecycle (s) i.e. SDLC, ADLC, IDLC
