Our client is a fast-paced B2B SaaS Fintech startup, HQed in the US, expanding across South and South-East Asia, in the B2B lending space. The founders are veterans in the fintech industry, having built out core teams and platforms for multiple multinational companies.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and optimise end-to-end fullstack solutions for a high-scale platform, ensuring security, reliability, and performance.
  • Own architectural decisions, including microservices, API design, event-driven systems, and database optimisations.
  • Ensure compliance with fintech security standards, regulatory requirements, and data privacy best practices.
  • Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability to handle growing transaction volumes.
  • Work closely with product, data, and business teams to shape technical roadmaps aligned with business goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Has built and scaled distributed systems handling high volumes of transactions, ensuring high availability, low latency, and fault tolerance.
  • Has been a core contributor in taking a product from concept to launch (0→1), or, scaling it from early traction to growth (1→10).
  • Previous experience in fast-paced startup environments, thriving in high-ownership, high-accountability roles.
  • Deep experience in backend development with a good grasp of frontend frameworks.
  • Good to have built or worked on payments, lending, or risk assessment platforms.
