Job Description



  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with international accounting standards, and timely submission to relevant stakeholders.


  • Data Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.


  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure all financial reports adhere to regulatory requirements and assist in internal and external audits, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.


  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against these benchmarks.


  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting and data management to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and management, to align financial reporting with organisational goals and strategies.


  • Stakeholder Communication: Present financial data and insights to senior management, explaining complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Finance Reporting role at our client's India Shared Services will possess a strong background in finance and accounting, with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS/USGAAP). They will be highly analytical, capable of interpreting complex financial data, and skilled in using financial software and tools. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the candidate will need to present financial insights clearly to stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, they will be proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A proven track record of working in a shared services or global finance function would be highly advantageous.
