Job Description

Financial Planning & Budgeting:

* Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and long-term financial plans.

* Collaborate with department heads to gather input, analyse trends, and identify budgetary requirements.

* Prepare budget vs. actual variance analysis and provide insights to management on key drivers.

Forecasting & Reporting:

* Support the forecasting process by analysing historical data, market trends, and business drivers.

* Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.

* Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities based on financial analysis.

Performance Analysis:

* Conduct regular performance analysis to assess the financial health of the organisation.

* Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance and identify areas for improvement.

* Provide insights into revenue, expenses, and profitability to support strategic decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or related roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CA/MBA preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex financial information into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of key financial concepts and metrics.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and driving results.
