Mishcon Operations provides operational help to the Group.Job DescriptionFinance Reporting:Responsible for all aspects of finance operations for the Indian entity, including statutory accounting, management accounting, and tax compliance.Ensure compliance with Indian regulatory frameworks, including statutory and tax filings (TDS, GST, and Corporate Tax).Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity.Lead general accounting functions, including ledger maintenance and reconciliation.Taxation and Compliance:Oversee third-party support to ensure timely and accurate tax filings in accordance with Indian law.Stay updated on changes in Indian tax and corporate regulations, advising the organization on compliance strategies.Cost Management:Collaborate with the Country Head and group CFO to manage and optimize costs, including cost recharge mechanisms.Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making and commercial initiatives.Budgeting and Planning:Lead the preparation of annual budgets and ongoing financial forecasts in collaboration with the Country Head, Operations Director and group CFO.Analyse budget variances and recommend cost-control measures to align with organisational goals.Commercial Decision Support:Provide high-quality, reliable financial insights to assist in commercial planning and decision-making.Conduct detailed financial analysis and prepare reports to support business strategies.Stakeholder Collaboration:Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, auditors, and counterparts in global offices.Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across the organisation.System and Process Improvement:Drive improvements in financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Maintain and ensure the integrity of data in internal financial systems.The Successful ApplicantChartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience; alternatively, an MBA with a finance specialisation and 10 years of relevant experience.Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of finance-related responsibilities.Strong understanding of Indian statutory reporting and regulatory requirements.Expertise in TDS, GST, Corporate Tax filings, cross-border/intercompany transactions, and government regulations.Advanced IT proficiency, including the ability to create and utilize macros in Excel.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Confident and personable, capable of building relationships with partners and key stakeholders locally and globally.What's on OfferAlong with robust reward packages, benefits and a range of mentorship and coaching programs, we have developed a performance and development framework which is designed to assist your career aspirations through regular development conversations and feedback.
