They have their setup in Mumbai within which they are setting up a centralized function for finance (Shared Service Center). Job Description

Finance Transformation Manager - 10+ years of experience | Marketing | Mumbai The incumbent will lead high-impact, cross-functional programs, oversee a team of project managers across geographies, and collaborate closely with Finance, IT, Operations, and other departments. This position reports to the Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Project Delivery



  • Lead the planning and execution of end-to-end strategic finance programs such as Purchase to Pay (P2P) tool implementation, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) rollouts, and process optimization initiatives.


  • Manage, coach, and develop a globally distributed team of project managers.


  • Define project scope, success metrics, and objectives in collaboration with senior stakeholders.


  • Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of key initiatives.



2. Governance & Risk Management



  • Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks and reporting standards.


  • Monitor project progress, manage interdependencies, and address risks or delays proactively.


  • Drive effective financial tracking, resource planning, and budget management across projects.



3. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership



  • Serve as a key liaison for project sponsors and senior executive stakeholders.


  • Foster alignment across functions and geographies to ensure cohesive project execution.


  • Shape and support the broader Finance transformation agenda through strong stakeholder communication and engagement.



4. Change Management & Communication Strategy



  • Integrate change management practices into all core initiatives.


  • Partner with the Change Management team to facilitate training, communication, and user adoption plans.


  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and innovation throughout the transformation journey.

The Successful Applicant

Experience & Skills Required: Finance Transformation Manager | Marketing

Have Experience with Shared Service/Consulting/Big Four 10-15 years in project/program management, preferably in Finance Transformation.Strong knowledge of finance processes and systems (Sage X3, Basware; Board is a plus).

Proven expertise in leading large-scale transformation programs, with solid skills in governance, budgeting, risk management, and cross-functional delivery.

Proficient in Agile, PMP, or PRINCE2 methodologies. Strong leadership in global, matrixed environments, with a strategic mindset, execution focus, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
