This position will play a pivotal role in handling the finance function including the accounting, controllership, financial planning, management reporting & analysis and business partnering activities for a global leader in the Food & Agriculture space based out of Bengaluru.

Our client is a global leader in the supply of food ingredients and agricultural products and covering a wide spectrum of the food industry, from raw materials to finished food products.

Job Description

  • Manage the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts and analyse variances.
  • Oversee financial planning and strategy implementation.
  • Implement and maintain all financial controls and systems within the business.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
  • Manufacturing & plant related controls and compliance including factory & labour laws, inventory management skills and product costing will be critical.
  • Implementation of process automation and maximising usage of SAP.
  • Manage interactions and engagement with global business stakeholders and with local functional heads across supply chain and commercial operations.
  • MIS review along with the CFO and Business team to provide insights in terms of business performance and prepare projections for rest of the year.
  • Handle the financial and management accounting activities of the company.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Qualified CA/CMA is a must.
  • Professional qualification as a Company Secretary is considered a plus.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience handling similar role.
  • Prior experience in the Food & Agri sector or product based manufacturing companies is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru.
