Job Description

  • Oversee all financial accounting, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Ensure underlying accounting records are prepared in accordance with IndAs and IGAAP.
  • Review monthly financial reports for accuracy, completeness and major variances between actual over last month/qtr/year.
  • Working closely with Statutory Auditors ( Big 4) and ensure timely completion of Audited financials without any qualification.
  • Ensure adequate controls are in place, SOP/ policies are law-compliant & and business-focused.
  • Drive operational efficiency by monitoring and improving costing activities and data accuracy. Identify saving initiatives.
  • .Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
  • Risk management through risk identification, investigation, and mitigation plan/action.
  • Year-end and month-end reporting, (reporting in line with the group timelines)
  • Work closely with FPA team to accurately report the numbers to the management.
  • Timely completion of inter-company reconciliations.
  • Support and Involvement for all Direct Tax and Indirect Tax compliance & and reporting which includes IT returns, Tax provisioning, Tax Audits, DTA/DTL, e-tds returns, Transfer Pricing, Equalization Levy, Goods & Service Tax (GST),
  • Take care of annual closing entailing preparation of annual financial statement as per IndAs, 3CD, 3CEB, filing of ITR, and yearly report with ROC.
  • Preparation of various data required by Company Secretary for statutory fillings with RBI and ROC
  • Work towards automation, standardize and simplify financial activities.
  • Lead SAP S 4 HANA implementation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience of dealing with Big-4 auditor's
  • Good exposure of working with multiple software & Hands on experience of SAP S4 Hana implementation
  • Experience working in large professional companies (experience in start-ups added advantage)
  • Strong analytical abilities, excellent accounting knowledge, good leadership and communication skills, and proficient use of financial software.
  • Soft skills such as attention to detail, organization skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills are also important.
  • Ality to work under pressure and ensure accountability for all committed timelines and ability to adapt to high-performance start-up culture
