We are seeking a dedicated Finance professional to join in as a Finance Controller for a leading US headquartered SaaS company based out of Bengaluru. This role will require you to work closely with the CEO while being responsible for finance controllership, corporate accounting, financial reporting, financial risk and strategies and other aspects within the domain.

Our client is an established US-based SaaS Company. With over 10+ years of operations, they now serve 350 thousand users with a global footprint across India, North America and APAC as regions. They are now looking to further grow their finance team and strengthen their India presence.

Job Description

  • Work closely with the CEO to analyse financials, prepare strategies and ensure financial health of the company.
  • Oversee and manage the organisation's financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Indian accounting standards.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports/financial statements and present them to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and systems to minimise risks.
  • Handle corporate taxation, transfer pricing, internal audits and statutory audits and compliance.
  • Monitor cash flow and handle AP, AR, revenue recognition, payroll and reconciliations.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the finance team to drive performance and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Controller should have:

  • A CA/CPA qualification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience across a similar role, preferably in the SaaS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IndAs/IFRS accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex financial scenarios.
  • Effective communicator with experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
