Job Description

  • Reconciliation between accounting ( AR, AP, bank reconciliations, journal and general functions) and trading P&L
  • Prepare the Company's financial reports and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Consolidation Reporting with HQ and liaise with tax teams
  • Preparation of documents for the purposes of Quarterly GST-Filing, DS / TCS, WHT, corporate tax computation
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and professional advisors on related matters.
  • Forecasting and managing monthly and midterm cash flow position based on its revenues and other financial indicators
  • Analysing revenues, expenses, working capital, cash flow and provide advice on potential current and future impact on the business operation
  • Preparing and coordinating the completion of external audits for entities under your portfolio
  • Ensure proper on-boarding of local suppliers, on-time processing of vendor bills and expense reports.

The Successful Applicant

  • CA with 6+ years working experience in Finance, Accounting and Tax functions
  • Previous working experience in energy and commodities trading
  • Strong energy market fundamentals and knowledge of India power market
  • Strong knowledge in Financial Reporting Standards, taxation, hedging, transfer pricing
  • Excellent communication with high business acumen
  • Knowledge of green power solutions will be a plus
