About Our Client

  • Our client is a Multi-Billion Global FMCG company with presence in more than 100+ countries across the globe and has a dedicated R&D/Technology Centre and multiple manufacturing plants within the India landscape

Job Description

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for all plant operations, including Production, Engineering, Warehousing, Quality, and HR
  • Deliver the annual operating plan, ensuring achievement of performance targets across cost, service, safety, and quality
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply to customers through effective planning and execution
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, flexibility, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards
  • Act as the site leader and legal entity representative, managing relationships with external authorities and stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team, with a strong focus on capability building and succession planning
  • Champion transformation initiatives, including automation, digitalisation, and future-ready manufacturing practices



The Successful Applicant

Candidate Profile

  • 16+ years of leadership experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain environments
  • Proven track record within FMCG, food, pharmaceuticals, or other process-driven industries
  • Demonstrated success in delivering operational excellence and business transformation
  • Experience managing large, complex, and matrixed teams

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or related discipline preferred

Preferred Background

A successful Manufacturing Manager should have:

  • Exposure to multi-site or global manufacturing environments
  • Experience working in regulated or quality-critical industries
  • Technical grounding in engineering, supply chain, or quality functions

Leadership Experience

  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration
  • Set a clear vision and drive aligned execution across teams
  • Develop and mentor talent, ensuring a strong leadership pipeline
  • Encourage innovation and continuous improvement
