Job Description

  • Oversee the entire platform engineering stack, including OS layer, virtualization, containerization, and deployment pipelines.
  • Lead the transformation of infrastructure from on-premises to cloud environments, leveraging AWS.
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration to manage and optimize workloads.
  • Implement and manage F5 technologies for load balancing and application performance.
  • Provide technical leadership in Linux operating systems, with a focus on virtualization technologies.
  • Champion the use of RHEL as the preferred operating system, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and efficient platform solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in platform engineering, with expertise in cloud transformation and infrastructure design.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, particularly Linux, and hands-on experience with RHEL.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with F5 technologies for load balancing and application performance.
  • Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies and their implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
