Job Description

Reporting directly to VP & India Head you will be responsible to

  • Oversee individuals responsible for managing technical programs that involve cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of the company's products and services.
  • Create and present program strategies to senior management, securing approval and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental activities to guarantee that programs, such as product or solution releases, are completed on time and within budget.
  • Supervise programs from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and budget monitoring.
  • Lead cross-functional teams with diverse skills and roles to achieve solutions and alignment with program goals, product launches, and material strategies, while managing excess and obsolete inventory and effectivities.
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor staff to develop an exceptional team of program managers.
  • Establish and implement new processes to enhance efficiency, leverage synergies, and support organizational growth.
  • Act as a catalyst for change, promoting process excellence, ensuring ownership of the PDR process, adapting to a dynamic business environment, and leading by example.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: At least 15 years with a bachelor's degree, 12 years with a master's, 8 years with a PhD, or comparable experience.
  • Functional : Experience working in global setups and hands-on knowledge on managing large scale programs in electrical and mechanical domain is a must
  • Leadership: Demonstrated strong leadership abilities with relevant experience.
  • Analytical Thinking: Utilizes logical, structured thinking to frame problems and draw appropriate conclusions, focusing on capability building within the span of control.
  • Communication: Communicates clearly and concisely to senior leaders, shaping their understanding and providing specific recommendations and conclusions.
  • People Management: Develops a high-performance team, setting direction, offering a compelling vision, and fostering continuous improvement.
