Job Description

  • Drive long-term financial planning and forecasting aligned with manufacturing scale-up, product launches, and global market expansion.
  • Lead standard costing, variance analysis, and margin improvement initiatives across manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with global benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with commercial and R&D teams to evaluate product mix, lifecycle profitability, and ROI on new molecule development.
  • Monitor inventory norms, optimize working capital tied to API, intermediates, and RM/PM, and implement controls for slow/non-moving stock.
  • Oversee capital budgeting, financial evaluation of capacity expansion, tech transfers, and greenfield/brownfield projects.
  • Ensure statutory compliance (GST, Income Tax, Transfer Pricing) and strengthen internal controls across manufacturing finance functions.
  • Lead SAP CO module enhancements for real-time reporting on batch costing and production efficiencies.
  • Mentor plant controllers and analysts; collaborate with site heads, procurement, and supply chain to drive cost optimization and operational KPIs.



The Successful Applicant

  • Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).​
  • Experience: 15+ years in finance, with significant experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.​
  • Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with proficiency in financial systems and ERP software.
