Our client is an artificial intelligence-based health care and clinical solutions provider, backed by marquee VC Global Funds like Sequoia Capital, Y-Combinator etc. Their AI-based product aims to reduce administrative hassles and maximise revenue for health care providers in the USA by automating their coding and billing with zero work flow change.

Job Description

  • Provide expert technical leadership in the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and deep learning models, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices and AI methodologies.
  • Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of engineers and data scientists, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and successful delivery of AI/ML projects, with an emphasis on scalability and system reliability.
  • Stay ahead of the curve in AI, ML, and engineering technologies, incorporating cutting-edge trends into team processes and product development.
  • Contribute significantly to strategic planning and decision-making, shaping the company's AI/ML and engineering road-map to drive business growth.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3-4 years specialising in ML/AI projects or data science-driven solutions.
  • 4+ years of leadership or management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment like a start-up or dynamic tech organisation.
  • Proven expertise in both ML and software engineering, with a strong track record of delivering scalable, AI-powered solutions within core product development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and its application across industries like health-care, including hands-on experience with relevant frameworks and libraries.
  • Proficient in software development best practices, such as version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and cloud platforms, with a passion for driving innovation and solving complex problems at the intersection of AI and engineering.
