Job Description

  • Lead research in the domain of environmental biotechnology, bioremediation and microbial solutions
  • Research in the biotechnological solutions in the industrial domain is a key component
  • Secure funding through grants and proposals
  • Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and patents in this domain
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives in line with the organization's vision.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director should have:

  • Atleast 18+ years of experience in the research domain
  • A strong understanding in the industrial and environmental biotechnology space
  • Research expertise in biosurfactants, oil recovery and microbial bioprocesses
  • Experience in leading large research teams and work on large scale projects.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
