Job Description



  • Strategic Leadership
    Define and execute the technical strategy and road-map for digital platforms (sales website and customer app), ensuring alignment with business goals and architectural standards.


  • Team Management & Development
    Lead and mentor a team of 15+ developers, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on continuous learning and accountability.


  • Delivery Management
    Oversee end-to-end delivery of digital projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality execution using Agile methodologies.


  • Technical Architecture & Design
    Design and guide the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance digital systems.


  • Technical Oversight & Guidance
    Provide hands-on technical direction and problem-solving support; maintain a strong coding background to guide the team effectively.


  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and UX/UI teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.


  • Technology Stack Expertise
    Offer deep expertise in Node.js, Next.js/JavaScript frameworks, MongoDB, and related technologies.


  • Quality Assurance & Best Practices
    Promote best practices in development, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and security protocols.


  • Risk Management
    Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure smooth project execution and system stability.


  • Innovation
    Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their potential to enhance digital offerings.

The Successful Applicant



  • Experience & Leadership
    • 10+ years in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
    • Proven ability to lead and mentor large, diverse technical teams in dynamic environments
    • Strong track record of delivering complex digital projects across web and mobile platforms


  • Technical Expertise
    • Deep hands-on experience with:
      • Backend: Node.js
      • Frontend: Next.js, React, or similar JavaScript frameworks
      • Mobile: Native or hybrid mobile development
      • Database: MongoDB
      • Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript
    • Skilled in designing and scaling high-performance, resilient digital systems
    • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices


  • Strategic & Collaborative Mindset
    • Capable of defining technical roadmaps aligned with business goals
    • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
    • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiences


  • Preferred Attributes
    • Experience in insurance or financial services
    • Familiarity with AWS, DevOps, and microservices architecture
    • Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
