Job Description

  • Operations, Maintenance & Performance Management: Overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of solar and C&I assets to maximize uptime and energy generation. Implementing performance improvement strategies to enhance plant efficiency.
  • Revenue Management: Ensuring accurate billing, power sale optimization, PPA management, and timely collections from off-takers, DISCOMs, and third-party consumers.
  • Budgeting & OPEX Optimization: Preparing annual budgets, controlling operational expenditure, and implementing cost-saving measures while maintaining high performance standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring adherence to all CEA, DISCOM, STU/CTU, LDC, and other statutory requirements. Managing environmental, safety, and grid code compliances across assets.
  • Insurance & Claims Management: Drafting technical insurance terms, negotiating optimal coverage, and ensuring swift claim settlements for asset protection.
  • Contract Management: Finalizing and managing O&M contracts, vendor agreements, and ensuring SLAs/KPIs are met for all service providers.
  • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination: Managing relationships with internal teams, vendors, off takers, DISCOMs, grid operators, LDCs, regulatory bodies, and local communities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Energy Efficiency & Performance Optimization: Implementing cutting-edge technologies like robotic cleaning, predictive maintenance, and SCADA/CMS analytics for performance enhancement.
  • Asset Life Cycle & Strategy Development: Defining long-term asset management strategies, repowering solutions, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance asset value.
  • PPA & Market Strategy: Managing open access transactions, energy trading, and market-driven energy sale strategies to optimize portfolio profitability.

The Successful Applicant

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in. Electrical/Mechanical/Civil.
  • 15+ years of experience in Asset Management in Power Generation with >7 years in Solar/Wind
  • Proactive individual who manages and develop a high performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation & excellence
  • Experience in utility scale projects
  • Set clear goal and expectation for the team and provide mentorship and guidance
