They have a strong global presence and are looking to hire Head- Design for their Mumbai office.Job DescriptionReporting to the Business Unit Head, you will be responsible for:Managing all responsibilities in Design Strategies, Optimum Engineering, Cost optimisation and related activitiesEnsuring accuracy of design documents according to international codes, client requirements, and carrying out process for approval of design documentsEnsuring accuracy of design documents according to international codes, client requirements, and carrying out process for approval of design documentsIntroducing increased levels of automation in processes to minimise manual interventions, increasing productivity, and reduction of reworkLeading team of design managers, engineers, draughtsman, ensuring their development, to meet the global competition, identify competency gaps and working on development plansDriving organisational goals through management systems, initiatives such as IMS, TPM, Kaizen, business excellence, quality systems, safety procedures and ensuring all compliance is metThe Successful ApplicantIdeally you are an Engineering (Mechanical or Production, Master's will be an added advantage) with at least 12 years of experience in Design of Process Equipment industry with national and international codes such as ASME, HTRI, TEMA, AD Merkblatter, etc. You have excellent Leadership, Communication, Team leadership, and Management skills.
