The Deputy Manager, Learning & Engagement role focuses on diagnosing capability needs, designing and delivering behavioural learning interventions, strengthening leadership and culture, and driving employee engagement programs that foster a high-performance, values-led environment. The incumbent will work closely with business leaders, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams to embed learning, improve employee experience, and contribute to building a future-ready workforce.

Job Description

  • Design and execute learning and development initiatives to support employee growth.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to identify training needs and align them with business goals.
  • Develop and deliver employee engagement programmes to enhance workplace culture.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of learning initiatives and make necessary improvements.
  • Manage budgets and resources for training and engagement activities.
  • Coordinate with external training vendors to provide specialised learning solutions.
  • Maintain records of training programmes and employee participation.
  • Act as a point of contact for all learning and engagement-related queries.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Deputy Manager, Learning & Engagement should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in learning and development or employee engagement within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the ceramic industry and its workforce dynamics.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in utilising learning management systems and training tools.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on employee growth and satisfaction.
