The purpose of the Data & Analytics team is to help Unilever become Data Intelligent and a clear analytical player partnering with the business to power key resolution with data, insights, advanced analytics and AI. The Data & Analytics function endeavors to create clear accountabilities for all aspects of Data Strategy, Data Management, Information Management, Analytics, and Insights. We are accountable for impact of solutions, maintaining market relevance and minimizing unnecessary overlaps in analytics products, ensuring simplicity and that our solutions better meet the needs of our users.

The role has three main accountabilities:
1. Serve as the trusted data consultant for the Data CoE Global Customer / Shopper building data into functional DNA and ruling the global agenda to build-out our thought management around data and insight.
2. As a functional guide in the Global Customer / Shopper Data CoE, design, execute and embed Enterprise Data Platform, delivering the data foundations needed to fuel our analytical products and deliver the democratization of our data across the whole organization.
3. As the Data Manager, drive excellence in Integrated Global Customer / Shopper data ensuring the delivery of a strong enterprise data platform.
This will include providing transparency over end-to-end linage, data governance and quality controls across our internal, 2nd and 3rd party data assets from source to product. As the Data Manager in the Global Customer / Shopper team you will be responsible to partner with functions and markets to deliver the functional design specification for the data platform. You will work with the Senior Data Manager and Data CoE Director to masterfully execute and collaborate with senior stakeholders to:
(i)drive cultural shift around data within the organization;
(ii) explore innovation opportunities around new data channels, new data feeds;
(iii) identify interdependent activities and bias towards front-loading high impact work.
The Successful Applicant
All About You
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded commercial and analytics professional. They will have a good knowledge of the Global Customer / Shopper External datasets and value chain in a consumer goods company, that is complemented by working knowledge of data management, data strategy or business information intelligence, and emerging technologies required to deliver a world class data service. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and ability to work with peers and demonstrate vertical and lateral influence and will enjoy rolling their sleeves up to drive towards outcomes.
*Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, data modelling, economics, finance, business administration or similar technical background
*Overall experience of 5-8+ years preferred

*Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously in a highly VUCA and ruthless market
*Proven capability in managing and developing teams
