This is a leadership opportunity to drive digital transformation and long-term technology strategy for a retail organization. The CTO will lead a 15-20 member team and work directly with the Director and MD on core business-impacting initiatives.

Our client is a prominent retail group with a strong presence across multiple formats including COCO, FOFO, SIS, and digital channels. With an eye on modernization and digital transformation, the organization is looking to upgrade its technology landscape across all touchpoints.

Job Description

  • Define and drive the long-term technology roadmap for the business
  • Lead digital transformation across retail formats, both physical and digital
  • Strong command over retail systems including POS, CRM, HRMS (no ERP currently), and Salesforce
  • Drive e-commerce and omnichannel initiatives to enhance customer experience
  • Oversee data management, analytics, forecasting, and system integration
  • Coordinate closely with software vendors and internal teams for seamless tech operations
  • Ensure IT infrastructure reliability, performance, and cybersecurity compliance
  • Build and mentor an in-house technology team; instill a culture of ownership
  • Report directly to the Director and MD; handle strategic tech initiatives
  • Fit into a traditional, flat-structured, office-first culture with close CXO interaction

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience leading tech teams in retail, jewellery, luxury, or consumer sectors
  • Proven expertise in omnichannel retail systems and digital platforms
  • Strong understanding of CRM, HRMS, POS, Salesforce, and tech integrations
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and scaling tech teams
  • Comfortable working in a promoter-led, high-accountability environment
  • Leadership mindset with hands-on ability and strategic foresight
