Job Description

We are seeking a Country Leader to spearhead market entry and business growth in India for a global consumer brand. This role offers full accountability for P&L delivery, strategic expansion, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial & Market Development: Drive revenue and profit targets, build a country wide distribution network, and lead negotiations to ensure competitive advantage.
  • OEM & Supply Chain: Oversee OEM production, ensure quality and compliance, optimize sourcing and logistics, and manage product registration.
  • Brand & Consumer Activation: Localize global brand positioning, execute marketing campaigns, and lead digital and on-trade activations to build awareness and engagement.
  • Financial & Governance: Own the country P&L, enforce financial discipline, and deliver accurate forecasts aligned with global governance standards.
  • Leadership & Organization Building: Recruit and develop a high-performing team, foster a results-driven culture, and represent the brand externally with partners and regulators.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Country Head - India, should have:

  • Minimum 12 - 15 years of FMCG experience (preferably beverage or alcohol industry experience) with at least 3-5 years in India leadership role.
  • Proven success in launching or scaling consumer brands from zero to one stage.
  • Strong background in sales, distribution management, and market entry execution.
  • Experience working with OEM manufacturing and product localization is a strong advantage.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution discipline and financial acumen.
