Job Description

  • Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Support Business by providing input to financial risk assessments, win strategies and execution strategies.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and reconciliations.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business strategies.
  • Assist business in Bid/No Bid decisions
  • Advice teams in audits, tax filings, and other statutory compliance requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in financial management and reporting within the Professional Services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and financial tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
