Job Description

  • Lead the technology department, ensuring alignment with the business's strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement tech strategies to drive operational efficiency.
  • Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate IT projects and supervise the IT team.
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions.
  • Conduct IT performance management and team development.
  • Promote and advocate for the company's IT vision and strategy internally and externally.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CIO should have:

  • 17-22 years of overall experience in the field of technology.
  • Open to Pune as a location.
  • Experienced in digital transformation, digitization, and process automation, with a knack for helping organizations scale while keeping data, systems, and processes intact.
  • Possess prevalent business exposure and a solid commercial understanding.
  • Global and GCC experience is essential, as the role will require extensive internal global stakeholder management.
  • Expertise in product implementation and vendor management for various tech functions, along with a strong sense of commercial viability, is also required.
