Our Client is seeking a highly strategic, execution‑focused Chief of Staff to partner directly with the Managing Partners and Investment Leadership Team. This role is central to driving operational excellence, ensuring strategic initiatives move forward, and enabling the fund to scale efficiently across portfolio operations, investment processes, and external ecosystem relationships.

In their relatively short journey they have partnered with 40+ businesses across a variety of sectors - SaaS, financial services, B2B commerce, consumer brands, social commerce, education, electric vehicles, healthcare, and more.

Job Description

The responsibilities for the Chief of Staff will include but not be limited to -

1. Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Act as a thought partner to the Managing Partners for fund‑level strategic planning, fundraising, and thematic research.
  • Translate high‑level priorities into structured execution plans and track progress.



2. Investment Team Enablement

  • Support pipeline reviews, IC meetings, deal tracking, and investment memos.
  • Oversee improvements in investment processes, due diligence frameworks, and internal workflows.
  • Coordinate with analysts/associates to ensure timely preparation of deal materials and research.



3. Portfolio Support & Value Creation

  • Build systems to streamline portfolio reporting, data analytics, and founder engagement.
  • Facilitate connections between portfolio companies and relevant experts, co‑investors, partners, and talent.
  • Track key performance metrics across the portfolio and identify red flags or support opportunities.



4. Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Prepare high‑quality presentations, LP updates, IC decks, and thought‑leadership content.
  • Represent the fund in selective external meetings, ecosystem events, and partner engagements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, LPs, co‑investors, and strategic partners.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief of Staff should have:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Tier-1 Consulting firms
  • Completed their education from a Tier-1 institute in India
  • Sector exposure - Experience of working with Consumer/Consumer Tech or AI/SaaS startups or clients
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and financial skills; comfort with data, research, and structured problem‑solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft clear narratives
