Chief Manager | EPC contracts | Mumbai | 7 + years

Candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and vetting a wide range of commercial and infrastructure-related contracts including supply and service agreements, EPC and O&M contracts, tender documents, HR and admin-related service contracts, transmission and utility agreements, international contracts, NDAs, MOUs, and financing documents. You will ensure legal and commercial risk mitigation, compliance with applicable laws, and alignment with internal policies.

• Contract Management: End-to-end handling of diverse contracts with a focus on risk analysis, legal positioning, and business alignment.
• Legal Advisory: Provide detailed legal opinions on bidding strategy, RoW and land acquisition, TSAs, SPAs, indemnity claims, and payment disputes.
• Land & Title Due Diligence: Conduct legal due diligence and title verification for land procurement and project development.
• Bid Support: Review bid submissions, address legal queries, and support acquisition due diligence for SPVs.
• Negotiation & Finalization: Lead negotiations with external stakeholders to finalize contracts ensuring favourable legal and commercial outcomes.
• Litigation Management: Handle litigation matters including arbitration, constitutional issues, criminal cases, and contractual disputes. Draft and vet legal documents including petitions and replies.
