Job Description

The CIO's responsibilities will involve but not be limited to -

  • Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with organisational objectives
  • Oversee portfolio management to ensure optimal allocation of resources
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for investment activities
  • Analyse market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align investments with long-term financial goals
  • Lead and mentor the investment team to drive performance and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all investment activities
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on investment performance and strategies

The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief Investment Officer should have:

  • Educational Qualification - Has completed their education from a Tier-1 institute in India
  • Experience Required - 11-13 years of experience in an Investing role and has completed multiple end-to-end transactions
  • Proven expertise in investment strategy, portfolio management, and risk assessment
  • Excellent knowledge of the banking and financial services industry
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and market analysis tools
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills to guide the investment team
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders effectively
  • Experience in working within regulatory frameworks and ensuring compliance
