Job Description

o Lead end-to-end financial operations including accounting, treasury, budgeting, financial reporting, and taxation.

o Formulate and manage annual and multi-year budgets in line with organizational objectives, project timelines, and funding availability.

o Oversee preparation and timely submission of financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and applicable regulatory frameworks.

o Monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets and initiate corrective actions in coordination with departments.

o Ensure strict compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other financial and regulatory requirements.

o Lead direct and indirect tax planning, optimize tax liabilities, and manage assessments, filings, and audits.

o Manage treasury functions including cash flow planning, fund utilization, investment of surplus funds, and banking relationships.

o Drive internal financial controls (IFC), audit preparedness, and timely closure of internal, statutory, CAG, and special audits.

o Lead development and implementation of financial policies, SOPs, cost accounting practices, and delegation of financial powers.

o Oversee capital expenditure management for infrastructure and city development projects, ensuring fund availability, usage tracking, and cost optimization.

o Develop business cases, financial models, and viability assessments for new initiatives, projects, and expansion proposals.

o Evaluate funding options, support debt and equity structuring, and liaise with financial institutions, government agencies, and investors as needed.

o Enable automation and digitization of financial processes including ERP integration, real-time dashboards, and MIS for senior leadership.

  • Present financial analysis, forecasts, and scenario planning reports to the Board and senior management for strategic decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

· Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, capital structuring, and aligning finance strategy with business goals.

· Knowledge of Ind AS/IFRS, taxation, corporate governance, and statutory requirements.

· Strong in financial risk management, internal controls, and audit frameworks.

· Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with integrity and strategic vision.

· Understanding of operations, market dynamics, and stakeholder management.

· ERP systems, BI dashboards, and digital transformation in finance.

· Clear and persuasive reporting to Board, authorities, and investors.
