As the CEO, you will lead the company's strategic direction, growth, and operational efficiency, driving both top-line and bottom-line performance. You will be responsible for scaling the business, building high-performing teams, and implementing systems and processes to transform into a hyperscale organization. Working closely with the promoters, you will ensure long-term success by balancing innovation, financial performance, and sustainability.

About Our Client

Our client is a listed chemical manufacturing organization in specialty chemicals, with domestic & international market presence, with primary focus on India, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

They are based out of Mumbai.

Job Description

As CEO, you will report to the Managing Director (Promoter). Your key responsibilities would be -

* Strategic Growth & Expansion: Develop and execute a clear roadmap to scale the company from 1-10 or 10-100, focusing on revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability.

* Techno-Commercial Leadership: Leverage technical expertise and business acumen to enhance product offerings, improve operations, and expand market penetration.

* Scaling Operations & Process Optimization: Establish robust systems, processes, and operational frameworks to support rapid growth and ensure efficiency.

* Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with promoters and the Board of Directors, aligning business objectives with long-term vision, governance, and sustainability goals.

* Financial Performance: Drive P&L management, cost optimization, and capital efficiency to maximize profitability and shareholder value.

* Innovation & Market Positioning: Identify and capitalize on market trends, technological advancements, and new business opportunities to maintain industry leadership.

* Organizational Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.

The Successful Applicant

As the ideal candidate, you should be a Chemical Engineer + MBA from a Tier I school in India / abroad, with 15+ years of strong techno commercial experience, across Indian promoter run manufacturing organizations, preferably in chemical or allied industries. You should have led & driven a 3-5x growth in P&L in your tenure as Business Head / CEO.
