Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Finance Partner & BusinessInfluencer
    • Lead financial strategy for the category, influencing decisions that impact profitability & growth.
    • Be the financial thought leader for category teams, ensuring data-backed decision-making.
    • Drive long-term financial planning & scenario analysis to prepare for market shifts.
  • Assortment & Pricing Strategy
    • Shape the right product mix & pricing strategy to maximize revenue & margin.
    • Conduct deep financial analysis on unit economics, SKU performance & category contribution.
    • Identify low-performing SKUs & margin leakages, recommending corrective actions.
  • Investment &ROIOptimization
    • Develop and own a structured investment framework for trade spends, discounts & promotions.
    • Lead ROI analysis for brand partnerships, category investments & pricing models.
    • Ensure every rupee spent drives measurable impact, optimizing budget allocations.
  • Category P&L Leadership & Deep-Dive Analysis
    • Own & manage full category P&L, ensuring revenue, margin & cost targets are met.
    • Conduct deep-dive profitability reviews to drive cost efficiencies & maximize ROI.
    • Partner with business teams to align financial goals with category strategy.
  • Execution Excellence & ProcessOptimization
    • Translate financial insights into high-impact actionables to drive business performance.
    • Lead process improvements for enhanced financial accuracy & speed of execution.
    • Enable real-time decision-making with dashboards, BI tools & automation.

CA with 5 to 8 years years experience in Business Finance and Category Finance
