Job Description

1. Develop and enhance credit risk policies and frameworks in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.

2. Monitor and evaluate credit risk exposures across the organisation's portfolios, including retail, commercial, and wholesale segments.

3. Conduct comprehensive credit analysis of individual borrowers, counter parties, and financial products.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk management, finance, and product development to ensure alignment of credit risk policies with business objectives.

5. Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers through financial statement analysis, credit scoring models, and qualitative factors.

6. Identify emerging credit risks and trends, and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.

7. Review and approve credit limits, terms, and conditions for various lending and trading activities.

8. Prepare and present reports to senior management and regulatory authorities on credit risk exposures, policy adherence, and portfolio performance.

9. Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends impacting credit risk management practices.

10. Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on credit risk analysis techniques and policy compliance

The Successful Applicant
