The Business Development Manager will be responsible for building and growing the foundry business in India, with a focus on market penetration and customer acquisition. Job Description

  • Implement market and customer penetration strategies for the Indian foundry bentonite and premix market.
  • Manage projects to ensure accurate, timely, and value-added completion.
  • Achieve target margins for new foundry business based on value-added principles.
  • Develop and build market awareness of the Indian Foundry Bentonite Business and relevant value propositions.
  • Understand and analyze competitors' intelligence.
  • Understand the Clariant Foundry product portfolio.
  • Initiate the Foundry Bentonite Business and continue developing new foundry customers.
  • Provide solutions for customers' unmet needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Foundry or Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the foundry industry, in either a commercial or technical role.
  • Deep understanding of foundry processes, including melting, resins, and green sand.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently to build a network and establish the business.
  • Open to candidates in the Tamil Nadu region, or Mumbai/Pune/Kolhapur who can travel to the office once a week.
