Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsAn opportunity to head overall India Manufacturing footprintLeadership Role reporting into the India COO for a Global MNCAbout Our ClientOur client is a Multi-Billion Global MNC within the Chemical Industry with its presence in more than 50+ countries across the globe and has 5+ manufacturing sites in India in addition to a dedicated Technology CentreJob DescriptionThe Corporate Manufacturing Head will be responsible of overseeing overall operations for all the manufacturing plants across India ( Self Owned + Contract Manufacturing Sites)This role will focus on optimising production, managing costs, ensuring quality standards, and delivering on customer service expectationsThe incumbent will lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, and handle union managementKey ResponsibilitiesBudget Development & Management: Formulate and execute annual manufacturing budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets.Cost Control: Ensure production costs are within budget, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation without compromising quality.Customer Service: Collaborate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) to meet production schedules and customer requirements, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.Continuous Improvement: Implement and promote continuous improvement strategies to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity.Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all legal, environmental, and safety regulations, including labour laws and standards.Union Management: Handle union negotiations and maintain positive industrial relations, ensuring smooth plant operations.Team Leadership & Morale: Lead, motivate, and ensure high morale within the manufacturing team.
