The client is a leading early‑stage investment fund looking to invest across multiple sector agnostic opportunities.

Job Description

  • Track and analyze market activity across M&A, exits, and public‑market readiness to identify emerging themes, strategic movements, and potential investment opportunities.
  • Conduct deep financial and strategic assessment of companies, including evaluating deal structures, benchmarking performance, and analyzing business models, growth trajectories, and capital structures.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models using DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and other valuation frameworks to support investment decision‑making.
  • Drive comprehensive sector research to monitor regulatory developments, competitive landscapes, macro trends, and investor sentiment influencing private and public‑market outcomes.
  • Participate in due‑diligence processes by reviewing company financials, assessing risks, and synthesizing insights to provide recommendations on valuation, timing, and deal approach.
  • Partner with internal teams to translate market intelligence into actionable investment strategies, supporting capital allocation and portfolio decision‑making.
  • Prepare high‑quality reports and presentations summarizing transaction landscapes, key risks, opportunities, and strategic implications for senior leadership.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate should have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Equity/Financial Research, or Corporate Development.
  • Strong command of PowerPoint, Excel, and research/data‑mining, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of financial concepts, strong business and market analysis abilities, and familiarity with equity fundraising processes.
  • Experience working directly with founders, supporting them on strategy, fundraising, and investor engagement.
  • Ability to map investor landscapes, drive targeted outreach, and build long‑term relationships across funds.
  • Will play a key role in planning and managing portfolio events and ecosystem engagements.
