Job Description

Key Responsibilities

AI and Automation Value Creation

  • Identify high-impact AI, automation, and digital opportunities across portfolio companies and within the fund
  • Translate business problems into clear, practical use cases with defined value, cost, and delivery paths
  • Prioritise initiatives based on ROI, speed to impact, and scalability



Hands-on Pilot Development

  • Design and support the build of AI pilots, internal tools, and automation workflows
  • Build base-level agents and prototypes using low-code and no-code tools
  • Stay involved through deployment and early adoption, not just concept design



Portfolio Company Engagement

  • Work closely with management teams across European portfolio companies
  • Support adoption through practical enablement and change management
  • Act as a hands-on partner rather than a detached advisor



Technology and Systems Awareness

  • Maintain a strong working understanding of enterprise systems, data, AI tooling, and automation platforms
  • Evaluate tools and vendors with a commercial and operational lens
  • Stay current on how AI is actually being applied inside businesses



Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate clearly with senior internal stakeholders
  • Produce concise updates that link AI initiatives to tangible business outcomes



Technical Diligence

  • Support with technical component of Due diligence



The Successful Applicant

Experience

  • 5 to 8 years of experience from strategy consulting, private equity value creation, enterprise technology, digital transformation, or similar roles
  • Private equity exposure and Management consulting experience preferred but not essential



Techno-Commercial Skillset

  • Strong commercial intuition and understanding of business drivers
  • Comfortable discussing systems, data, AI, and integration topics
  • Hands-on experience prototyping or building solutions using modern AI or automation tools
  • Able to work independently without relying on large teams



Mindset

  • Practical, execution focused, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Willing to travel extensively and work closely with portfolio leadership teams
  • Genuinely interested in applied AI rather than theory
