Job Description

  • Strategic Partnership Development:
    • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships to advance organisation's mission and goals.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, corporations, foundations, and international organisations
  • Resource Mobilisation:
    • Develop strategies for acquisition as well as retention of donors through targeted engagement and relationship building
    • Monitor and manage grant and funding agreements, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and effective utilisation of resources.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Represent the organisation at high-level meetings, conferences, and events to advocate for road safety and emergency care initiatives.
    • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and community organisations.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor the partnerships team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Develop and implement professional development plans to enhance team capabilities and performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong writing, research, editing, and communication abilities.
  • Overall 10+ years of experience with appropriate qualification. At least 5 years of experience in strategic partnerships, cause-marketing and fund raising
  • A proven track record of solving problems, negotiating with partners, and securing substantial gifts.
  • In-depth understanding of the institutional and CSR funding community.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • A passion for creativity and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends by continuously learning new ways of doing things.
    • The ability to work independently and make informed decisions to achieve goals.
    • Action orientation and ownership mentality.
    • Strong ability to influence.
    • Direct, clear, and concise communicator.
