Job Description

  • Lead and manage the analytics department to achieve organisational goals.
  • Develop and implement data science models to solve business challenges in the property and building materials sectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities and solutions.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data across all analytics initiatives.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports for senior management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimise business processes and strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest analytics and data science tools and techniques.
  • Mentor and guide team members to develop their skills and capabilities in analytics.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Science and Analytics Head should have:

  • Should have engineering degree/diploma in Chemicals (Non-negotiable)
  • A strong educational background in data science, analytics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in data analytics, predictive modelling, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience in handling large datasets and working in the building materials or property industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A track record of leading successful analytics projects and teams.
