Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsCandidates with Litigation experience to applyCandidates with 8 - 13 years to applyAbout Our ClientThe company is a well-established entity within the transport and distribution sector, specialising in third-party logistics solutions.Incumbent must have the :· Ability to effectively manage a diverse range of legal challenges, including complex litigation cases, regulatory notices, prosecutions, and intricate contractual matters.· The role demands a proactive approach to identify potential legal risks, safeguard the organization's interests, and support business objectives through thorough analysis, risk mitigation, and effective managementJob Description· Provide expert legal advice and support across a broad spectrum of legal issues.· Developing strong strategies for dispute resolution.· Coordinating with external counsel and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely responses to legal notices from Regulatory Authorities, Customers, Vendors and other stakeholders.· Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including coordinating with external counsel, preparing pleadings, affidavits, and other legal documents, and attending the matters before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.· Handle matters related to customs laws, import-export regulations, and DRI investigations/notices, including coordinating with authorities and ensuring timely compliance.· Handle the FIR, Complaints with Police and other authorities.· Conduct legal research and analysis to provide risk assessments and practical solutions to business challenges.· Advise on legal implications of business projects, collaborations, and transactions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.· Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including customer/vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and project-related agreements.The Successful Applicant· Proven experience in handling complex litigations, disputes, arbitration, commercial matters, prosecutions.· Handling notices under customs laws, and regulatory investigations.· Experience dealing with customs authorities, DRI notices, and investigations.· Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience in managing multiple legal projects simultaneously under tight deadlinesA successful AGM - Litigation should have:A degree in law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognised institution.Proven expertise in handling litigation matters and legal compliance.Strong understanding of laws and regulations relevant to the transport and distribution industry.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.What's on OfferOpportunity to work with a leading organisation in the transport and distribution sector.Exposure to challenging legal matters and career growth opportunities.If you are looking for a rewarding career in Mumbai as a AGM - Litigation, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
