This role includes designing competitive Comp & Ben programs, overseeing Payroll, and promoting Employee Relations. Additionally, it requires collaborating with stakeholders to align C&B strategies with the organization's goals.

Job Description

HR Operations:

  • Oversee daily HR Ops, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Manage HRIS and maintain data integrity, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure HR SG&A costs remain within the approved budget.
  • Lead Monthly Team Meetings (MTM) for direct reports to keep the team informed on organizational progress.
  • Monitor the execution of MTMs up to all employee levels.
  • Facilitate other team engagement activities, such as SKIP-level meetings.

  • Design and manage region-specific, competitive Comp & Ben programs to attract, motivate, and retain talent.
  • Develop and administer region-specific long-term, mid-term, and short-term incentive plans, benchmarking them against industry standards for both services and product units.
  • Conduct benchmarking studies to ensure the organization's C&B offerings align with market trends.
  • Oversee monthly payroll processing, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and other perks.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to benefits packages based on employee feedback and market trends.

  • Ensure HR teams address ER issues, conflicts, and grievances, promoting open communication and conflict resolution.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to C&B.



.HR Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure global compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and update HR policies related to C&B, ensuring clarity and accessibility for employees.
  • Guide HR teams in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and practices that mitigate risks and maintain a legally compliant workplace.



.Change Management:

  • Support organizational change initiatives related to HR Ops and compensation structures.
  • Develop strategies to communicate and implement changes effectively within the organization.



.Analytics and Reporting:

  • Analyze C&B data to assess effectiveness and identify trends or areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on compensation metrics and operational efficiency.



.Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to HR team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor HR team members to support their professional growth and development.
  • Assign tasks and OKRs to team members in alignment with the current PMS, monitoring progress to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Ensure the HR team maintains a healthy work-life balance.



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate for the position of 'Associate Director - Operations and Comp & Ben' must have:

  • 12-17 years of overall experience in human resources, with at least 8-10 years of progressive experience in managing HR Ops with extensive experience in leading C&B Team
  • Experience in any Consulting or IT Services organization
  • Knowledge on C&B, Labor Laws and Regulations, Performance Management, ER, HR Analytics & Metrics, HRIS, Budgeting & Financials, Risk Management
  • MBA/ PGDM
  • Chennai as current location
