About Our Client
Our client is a US based fortune 100 manufacturing company specializing in consumer and industrial products encompassing 4 divisions: fabrics, medical equipments, electronic products and industrial products. With its significant international presence through out Asia Pacific; now the company is triggering its expansion in the Indian Market and looking forward to recruit some experienced sales professionals for their Mumbai operations. .

Job Description

Your responsibilities will entail:

  • Helping our client to understand regional and market specific needs, identify and prioritize new opportunities for their packaging and portable electronics vent products and to advance the growth.
  • Focusing on sales and business development for protective vent products
  • Developing and expanding strong relationships at multiple levels within existing accounts, key targeted accounts, and OEM/tier Suppliers in our core markets Telecom, Solar and Lighting.
  • "Consultative selling" with technically-oriented customers
  • Working closely with product specialists on pricing negotiations and long term contract formation.
  • Act as first level technical and quality support for new and existing customers.
  • Building and maintaining long term customer relationship to meet customers satisfaction.
  • Communicate account, market and territory strategies internally through regular use of sales discipline (CRM) and creation of trip reports to support internal communication.
  • Focusing on key internal relationships - with product specialists, application engineers (regional & global) and regional business leadership in Asia Pacific region and globally.
  • Focusing on key external relationships - End-users/ Contract Manufacturers/ Other Parties in Supply Chain, if any; and OEMs (from a strategic selling perspective)

The Successful Applicant

You are a graduate; preferably with an engineering background and possess a postgraduate qualification in any management discipline from a top tier university. You have extensive (10 to 15 years) sales experience within the Indian industrial sector with a reputed multinational company and are open to significant local and international travel.

In the course of your professional career you have:

  • Proven sales track record with value selling background
  • The ability to understand key technical knowledge for venting and filtration business.
  • Proven global large account management.
  • Handled first level technical and quality interface
  • Demonstrated history of working well in a team based environment.
  • You possess a proven ability to understand and effectively communicate technical concepts both internally and externally in the venting and filtration businesses and are through with the regional know how to conduct business in South and North India.

Apart from this you hold an entrepreneurial insight to drive the market expansion and you are conversant with the mechanics of conducting business negotiations.
