About Our Client
The Finance project manager reports to the Indian Finance Manager. This a 6 month period defined role. Our client in India is building a manufacturing site in Pune and are preparing the fundations to support the business in this new scenario. The primary role is to coordinate the definition, testing, documentation and implementation of the new processess and system set-up to enable timely and accurate costing accounting and profitability reporting.

Job Description

• Play a key role in the coordination of the costing project including processes, system set-up, interfaces.
• Documentation of new processes
• Support in the raining and implementation of new solutions
• Ongoing development of ERP and accounting systems with the objective of simplifying and standardising the accounting structure and enhancing accuracy of the financial information
• Coordination role with Operations to link the procurement, warehousing and manufacturing processes and transactions into the accounting deadlines and financial information.
• Support role for the development of data interfaces, data cleansing and standardisation allowing the construction of the global data warehouse
• Consolidate production and accounting systems making sure the local statutory requirements are met
• Define and build reports in the system with three purposes: control, management tools, reporting needs
• Support with any month end accounting or reporting activities in the transition time

• Strong knowledge of accounting, costing.
• Good understanding of processes in Operations
• Team player
• Strong communication skills and able to influence other areas of the company with clear statements and recommendations Degree in Finance, Business or accounting
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role; 2+ years of project management
• Project management experience including ERP and systems implementation
• Working Knowledge of US GAAP
