About Our Client
Our client is a very large and well-known brand in the consumer durables space, with a strong foothold in India and a presence in 30+ countries. A vast range of products under their portfolio range across home electricals, power solutions and renewable energy solutions.
To manage the growth and potential of one of their newest business lines, they are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the South region, based out of Bangalore.
This is a potential leadership role reporting in to the Head of Sales. The incumbent would look after the entire home electricals line of business for the organisation, for the South region. Driving a relatively new vertical, he/she would be responsible for crafting the long-term business strategy, GTM and sales and distribution for the business line.
This is also a people management role and there would be a team of territory managers and ASMs reporting in to this role. The incumbent is responsible for building a strong leadership pipeline, grow the team and business together.
The Successful Applicant
We're looking for someone who comes with 10+ years of relevant experience with a strong channel sales and distribution background in the consumer durables industry, and more importantly from a leadership and strategy background. This is a high exposure and potential leadership role and therefore the person would be able to come up with long term strategies. Exposure to new product development and category launches is ideal. An MBA is a must, as is numerical, analytical and communication skills.
