About Our Client
Our client is a French fast fashion company that has a range of clothing for men. They are focused on deepening their brand footprint in India. They have been growing rapidly and need a strong PR & Digital Manager to fuel and sustain the growth for India
The incumbent will report to the Marketing Head and be responsible for:
- Build a credible & compelling brand image by crafting, executing and promoting press campaigns with the widest possible media coverage throughout
- Develop innovative marketing communications plan and a digital promotion roadmap, goals, budget and tactics that tell the story of the brand and build awareness by coordinating all public relations and digital media activities in conjunction with the respective PR/Digital agency.
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media and build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
- Leverage existing media relationships, cultivate new contacts within business and industry media and manage media inquiries and interview requests
- Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR and digital results on a quarterly basis
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting us and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them and also infuse the organization with market intelligence and digital trends
- Drives measurability in Social, Digital and PR initiatives to ensure that every campaign has a measurable goal & it is evaluated at the end of the campaign. The person has to have a good understanding of evaluation tools available in the Social & Digital media space & constantly learns about new innovation in the space.
The Successful Applicant
- The person needs to be passionate about building relationships with all kinds of people and be a hustler! Looking for people with a strong digital bent of mind and the right personality to develop strong PR skills.
- Proven experience in public relations and digital marketing preferably in the fashion/lifestyle domain will be an added advantage
- Must have a proven track record bringing innovative marketing programs to market in a retail, fashion or company with similar focus (feel / love for fashion is crucial)
- Must be an ideas person who loves the creative process and has experience working closely with creative teams
- Knowledge of the digital and social media landscape including a history of working with the various digital publishers and social media companies. (Low level)
- Substantive experience in digital/ social media buying or closely managing digital agencies (High Level)
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations and digital media campaigns at both the local and national level (Low level with a less than 5-7 years of experience)
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Solid experience with digital media, social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. (High Level)
- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline and MBA or Master's degree will be preferred - special certifications in digital / social media space will be an added advantage etc
